Students enjoying a summer reading discussion

Duke Summer Reading

The Duke Summer Reading Program is designed to give incoming students a shared intellectual experience with other members of their class. During Orientation Welcome Week, First-Year Advisory Counselors (FACs) facilitate discussions with first-year students. Other conversations and events related to the reading take place throughout the fall semester.
