Project BUILD
Project BUILD (Building Undergraduate Involvement in the Life of Durham) is a community service based pre-orientation program for first-year students. Approximately eighty students can participate in this week-long program immediately prior to Orientation and the start of classes in August. Project BUILD provides an introduction to both the Duke and Durham communities, fosters friendships that last for the entire undergraduate experience, and creates a community that is devoted to service and cultivating strong relationships with the greater community.
