Welcome to Duke University! As a member of the Transfer Class, you are about to begin the journey of Duke University undergraduate education at Duke. The Transfer Orientation program is your key to a successful start as one of the newest members of our community. It was designed to introduce you to many of the academic and co-curricular opportunities that Duke has to offer!

Join your Transfer Advisory Counselor (TAC) and Dr. Robert Thompson, Dean of Trinity College and Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education, for a dinner celebrating your arrival to Duke.

The University welcomes new students and celebrates a new academic year, including a keynote address by President Richard Brodhead. Afterwards, students will be invited to pledge their commitment to the University's Community Standard by signature on their way to the reception.

President Brodhead celebrates our new students arrival with an informal, light lunch for new students and their families. In case of rain, lunch may be picked up in the Great Hall.

Interfaith Assembly and Open House
Duke University has many religious and spiritually based opportunities for students interested in exploring, learning or growing in their faith. Come learn about the diversity of religious opportunities available to you at Duke, including Buddhism, Christianity, Hindu, Judaism and Muslim.
