Ultimate Frisbee
Abstract - Come join one of the oldest pickup ultimate frisbee games in the state, followed by lunch under the rooftop cow at Taqueria la Vaquita. Both the pickup game and the taqueria are local Durham institutions. The game was founded by Duke students in 1982, although the participants now range in age from high school to middle age, in ability from beginner to expert (so no previous experience is necessary), and in origin from everywhere.
Be sure to bring sunscreen, bottled water, and attire suitable to run around on grass for a couple of hours (many of the regulars wear soccer cleats).
