"Transfer students adapt to Duke"

Stepping onto campus for the first time may be nerve-wracking for freshmen, but for the 27 newly arrived transfer students, coming in as upperclassmen presents a different set of challenges.

Still, transfer students said their first month at Duke has been made easy by a successful orientation program, extracurricular opportunities and students' willingness to get to know the new faces around the University.
