Lawson Kurtz - Project WILD Program Director

E-Mail: lawson.kurtz@duke.edu

Lawson is a biology major in the class of 2011. Hailing from the chilly Westport, CT, Lawson enjoys outdoor time in the (usually) pleasantly warm North Carolina. In addition to his duties as PWILD program director, Lawson is a senior photo editor and sports photographer for The Chronicle, is the vice president of marketing for Crazies Who Care, is actively involved in medical research in the Duke Emergency Department, and is a state-certified EMT. A pre-medical student, Lawson can frequently be found on the third floor of Bostock library, although he vastly prefers his time spent in the epicenter of all things Duke: Cameron Indoor Stadium. Lawson loves to talk about all things medicine or college basketball related (and PWILD related of course!) so feel free to ask him any and all of your questions.
